Can I connect my domain using a CNAME?

Hi, it says you can addon a domain using a CNAME, cause I’m using another DNS provider, is this possible? How do I do that, just add the CNAME and then add the domain in the panel?

Hi,

You can add domain via CNAME. For that, first create an account using free sub-domain. Login to Control Panel, go to “Addon Domains”. If you try to add your domain, you will see a message with CNAME record to be set like this:

Alternatively you can create a CNAME record pointing 7a8c37hdq765d030517f6asd85be.[yourdomain].com. to ns1.byet.org.

Create CNAME records. Wait for propagation and try adding the domain again via “Addon Domains”
